Meilinger serves the top 1% so we can serve the bottom 1%. Mike’s mission is to inspire others to join the fight against human trafficking both domestically and internationally. The non-profit organization Meilinger is most active with is the Child Freedom Coalition. They work in India and Southeast Asia to free children from slavery and human trafficking. Over the past few years Meilinger has been the premier sponsor of several events hosted by the Child Freedom Coalition.
This important non-profit allows team members and volunteers in South Asia to rescue children out of human trafficking, in rock quarries, brothels, brick-making factories, abusive homes, or abandonment. Most rescued children are reunited with safe and loving family members. Those with nowhere to go come to live at The Children’s Home, where they work hard to overcome the challenges in their lives and transition into adulthood confidently.
Since 2013, over a thousand students have graduated from these programs and have given over one million dollars back to the program, so that other children can have the same opportunity.
